The Belarussian-Slovenian Joint-Venture “IskRa” was founded in December 1999. The chief founder of the JV “IskRa” (99% of shares) is the “Iskra Avtoelektrika d.d.”, Slovenia. The history of the company “Iskra Avtoelektrika d.d.” in the Republic of Belarus dates back to the mid-90ies of the previous century when the enterprise began to supply starter motors to the Minsk Tractor Works. With the increase of sales in the region it was decided to create a manufacturing enterprise in the city of Grodno in order to supply the produce to major Belarussian buyers. The first starter motors came off the assembly line in July 2000. We have been working under licence and technology of the Slovenian company “Iskra Avtoelektrika d.d.”. European quality of the utility and manufacturing equipment, trained staff secure high reliability of our produce.
